Description
Saison is a Belgian farmhouse beer style traditionaly brewed in the autumn or winter for consumption during the summer for the farm workers, who were entitled to up to five litres each workday. Lightly hopped with xxxx hops and complimented by a subtle maltiness provided by the German cara munich and Pilsner malts but with a delicious, underlying Belgian style spicyness. Our version is formulated to a more traditional strength making it a highly refreshing beer.
This recipe pack will give you approx 5 litres of 4.8% ABV beer and comes with full instructions and includes a steriliser pack. Our recipe packs are a great way to brew small batches of beer using completely raw ingredients using the same methods as a professional brewer. The perfect introduction to all grain brewing or for those who do not have room for full scale setup’s.
